British manufacturing locations, skills and craftsmanship are an important part of our cultural heritage. They have brought, and continue to bring, social and economic benefit to our regions. In a world of ever increasing globalisation we feel it is important to support local manufacturers, which in turn support local communities.
For many years, a diverse range of manufacturers has taken part in our Heritage Open Days programme, offering factory tours, demonstrations and unique, collectable Heritage Open Days merchandise. However, there are many more British companies providing high quality products, and our Made in Britain campaign celebrates these companies.
