Website feedback

Civic Societies have been exchanging news and views, contributing to Government consultations and joining online discussions on the Civic Trust’s website at www.civicsocieties.org.uk since April.

Available to both Civic Societies and the public, the website highlights the issues facing citizens today - from buying locally to town centre management. The website encourages and helps people to take action, make their views heard, and play their part in shaping their local communities. Ian Harvey, Civic Societies and Membership Manager “over 75 civic societies are using the dedicated webpage as a way to recruit new members, in fact, we have had approximately 300 people register to become new civic society members directly through this website”

With a comprehensive, free members-only area, the website also allows members to “ask an expert” or join a debate, as well as respond quickly to Government consultations.

To ensure we continue to offer a website that is responding to your needs we are seeking your input on how we can improve http://www.civicsocieties.org.uk. Tell us what you need and we will deliver the results you want.

Ian Harvey, said “the website brings together the full range of Civic Trust campaigns, and shows how you can make a difference by adding your local voice to the national voice of the Trust. Civic Societies are using this website as a resource, however we want to do even more, we want even more civic society members to connect with each other. We want you to tell us what is good about the site, what is not working and what could be better, in short this is your website, this really is another opportunity to directly influence our work in helping to connect communities together”.

The Civic Trust have produced a short survey for your input and we encourage you to participate.
